Melaka - World Heritage City

Melaka, this historical city has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage City since 7 July 2008.


A Famosa is a fortress located in Melaka. It is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia.


A Famosa was constructed by the Portuguese in 1511, it suffered severe structural damage during the Dutch invasion.





Christ Church was constructed in 1753, the structure reflects original Dutch architecture.
