Panoramic View Of The KL Skyline @ Look Out Point Ampang

Look Out Point Ampang may know by another name called Bukit Tinjau or Langat Hill. It is located between Cheras and Ampang with almost unparalleled view of KL night.

Few eateries in and around Look Out Point are Bread & Olives, Haven and Gasoline. We have chose Look Out Point Western Food as our dining place which is the first restaurant to operate here since 2005. There can get pretty busy at night and during the weekends, so arrive early to avoid the crowds.

One of the many delicious dishes at Look Out Point.

Enjoy the authentic chicken chop in full view of the magnificent Kuala Lumpur skyline.

Direction to reach there: You will pass Carrefour and shop lots before reaching a road sign that points uphill. You will be required to parj your car (RM2) before the top of the hill and walk the rest of the way. Car jockey is available at top of the hill for an extra RM3.

Luncheon @ Sushi Tei, Pavilion KL

Sushi Tei originated from Singapore since 1994 with outlets spanning all over Asia and now is Pavilion KL. We ordered donburi as our lunch. Donburi has become an extremely popular one-dish meal in Malaysia. It comprises a deep bowl of rice topped off with chicken, or beef cooked in a variey of sauces.

Chicken Katsu Don, chicken cutler topped with egg on the rice @ RM13.80

Hotate Tamago Don, scallop topped with egg on the rice @ RM18.80

Soft shell crab!! Not to say, is a must order when visit to Japanese restaurant.

Bavarian Bierhaus German Restaurant @ Wisma UOA II

A new branch that served the same food as the one at The Curve, the new place has a bit more colour with the choice if sofas and brighter lights. Like the other outlet, it also opens out to the outdoors.

Pic above is Grilled Pork Chop, served with canellini beans, basil with streaky bacon and pitted dark cheery sauce. The all-time favourites are still topping the charts and pork knuckles is one example. The crispy pork knuckle with smoked bacon and honey is able to rival even the best of them. Pork lovers' must-try at the outlet is also the pork ribs, which is another hearty meal like the knuckles.

We ordered German Sausage Platter which included of grilled thueringer sausage, emmenthaler, neurenberger cocktail sausage and pork frankfurther. Server with sauteed potato onion relish, crispy bacon, paprika Mayo and garlic mayo.

Besides outlet at Wisma UOA II, you can enjoy the organic pork knuckle and variety sausages at The Curve and Jaya33. A must-try for my next visit is the fresh and aromatic pretzels too.

Win Soon Cafe - Ah Soon Fish Head Mee @ Kuchai Lama, KL

Fish Head Noodles aka "Yee Thau Mai", another arguably good dish found in Kuchai Lama. My last visit there was still crowded as usual. The gravy was creamy as expected, and the portion of noodles and fish head were generous, so there was hardly anything that I could complain about. The outlet is situated at the corner lot of the shoplot at Jalan Kuchai Lama 9. Another branch is located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong.
Food Recommended: Fish head, fish paste and fresh prawn mee hoon.
